Polad Trading supplies gypsum board in 9mm and 12mm. 9mm gypsum board is lighter and is commonly used for ceilings, where boards are fixed overhead to a ceiling frame. 12mm gypsum board is stiffer and more impact resistant, so it is generally preferred for drywall partitions and wall linings. For bathrooms, kitchens and other humid rooms, use 12mm moisture resistant board instead.
Polad Trading supplies four product ranges from Kampala: boards (gypsum board 9mm and 12mm, moisture resistant board 12mm, cement fibre board 6mm and 9mm, marine, PVC foam, PVC marble, MDF, super gloss and block boards); building materials (suspended ceiling, GI F and C channels, wall angles, screws, concrete nails, 6mm wall plugs and marble sheet); doors (PVC, fire, steel, timber, hospital, security, laboratory and super gloss flush doors); and kitchens, wardrobes & TV cabinets (modular kitchens, counters, vanity tops, wardrobes, TV cabinets and cupboards).

Call +256 705 332 050 or +256 703 212 151, send a WhatsApp message, or email poladindustries@gmail.com or trading@poladug.com. To get an accurate quotation quickly, list each product with its size or thickness (for example gypsum board 9mm or 12mm) and the quantity you need.
Use 12mm moisture resistant board for ceilings and walls in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries that get steam or occasional splashes. Where the surface gets wet directly, such as shower walls or behind tiles around a sink, use cement fibre board in 6mm or 9mm, which does not soften when wet.
